During summer of 2020, I had an opportunity to intern for NISC,
an organization based in Missouri that provides software/hardware solutions for its members.
I implemented features for the UI of a website that provides billing to devices mapping using
Angular.
Also, I had an opportunity to build a project from the ground up that serves the company APIs via
Swagger.
Besides being a junior developer, I got a chance to tested the projects using JUnit by writing
various test cases.
I had a chance to learn more about the workflow of the team by familiarizing with version control
tool (Stash), deployment tool (Bamboo) and
the issue management tool (Jira). Every pull requests from me need to be carefully revised
to make sure the seniors and team lead approve. Also, I brushed up some of the technologies
(Angular, SpringBoot, MongoDB) and how to use them to develop
responsive and adaptive websites.
